Junior Kindergarten Kickstart! (Entering KCD Junior Kindergarten)

Get ready for Junior Kindergarten at KCD! Spend two mornings of fun with Lower School Director Mary Charles Collett, Spanish teacher Lindsay Jennings, and JK teachers. This camp will help your child gain familiarity with KCD's campus so that they feel ready for the start of school. We will meet new friends, practice Morning Meeting routines, play hard on our playgrounds, check out our creek and Nature Trail, create art projects, and so much more! Junior Kindergarteners will need to bring a change of clothes in a backpack, a water bottle, a snack, and wear sneakers.

Bearcat F.C. Soccer Camp for Boys & Girls (Grades JK-4th)

Join Coach Pollitt (USSF C License) for an AWESOME week of the best sport on the planet, FUTBOL! We will ALWAYS have a ball at our feet and a smile on our face! We’ll focus on ball handling, inside of the foot pass, instep drive, receiving/trapping, shooting/finishing, and game situations. These skills will be incorporated into small-sided games and activities in order to maximize FUN and touches on the ball. We will have treats at the end of each day for hard workers, and our KCD middle school players will come and play with us, too!

Nerf Battles: Session 2 (Grades K-5th)

Throw on some goggles, grab your blaster, and squad up to a variety of Nerf Dart games. Campers will safely participate in solo, duo, and squad missions to rule campus. Who will reign supreme?

Messy Fun (Grades JK-4th)

Do you enjoy getting a little messy when you play? Then this camp is for you! We'll make slime, paint with shaving cream, have water balloon fights, and each camper will tie-dye a t-shirt. We hope you'll join us for this wonderful week of messiness! Campers need to dress comfortably and bring a water bottle everyday.

Bearcat Games: Session 2 (Grades JK-4th)

Coach Sample would love for you to join him this summer for a week of fun-filled games! Each day will feature different games such as basketball, kickball, four square, ultimate frisbee, capture the object, and educational board games inside it is raining. Bring your tennis shoes, snack and a water bottle.

College Application and Essay Workshop (Rising 12th Graders)

This workshop is a great opportunity for seniors to get a head start on their college applications before their senior year begins. The course will introduce students to all aspects of the Common Application. Students will complete all the sections of the application including the biographical section, activities and leadership resume, and essay. Students will brainstorm, outline, organize, and formulate a game plan for the essay topics for their desired colleges. One day, admissions counselors from several different colleges will attend the course to help students revise their essays. Students should bring their laptops.
