A701: Lower School Basketball (Grades Entering 1st-4th)

Come join KCD's fun filled Basketball Camp designed for our lower school students. Our camp is designed to accommodate all abilities and skill levels. Campers will learn and develop basketball skills including dribbling, passing and shooting. We will incorporate basketball skills into fun drills and games. Join us this summer to meet new friends and have a great time together.

A702: Welcome to Middle School Tech Boot Camp (Grades Entering 5th-6th)

Join Ms. Byron for our Middle School STEAM Camp! Learn tips and tricks for navigating the Chromebook and google apps, use tech to build comprehension of your summer reading, develop digital organization strategies, and so much more!

A703: Middle School Basketball (Grades Entering 5th-8th)

Come join the fun with our Middle School Basketball Camp! Never played basketball before..... No worries, KCD's middle school basketball camp will be a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game as well as help develop students with advanced skills. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in drills, games and competitions. Beginner and advanced level campers will learn the skills needed to play basketball at a high school level.

A704: Sum It Up - 5th Grade Math (Intro, prep, review for Entering 5th Grade Math)

Join us for a fun week of preparation and review for 5th grade math classes. We will review math skills and strengthen math facts, learn some “arithmetricks” and mental math tricks, practice "showing work," develop problem solving skills, work on study skills and test taking skills, work puzzles, play math games, and practice telling a good math joke.

A700: Journalism School (Grades 5th-7th)

Campers will practice reading skills while reading teacher and student chosen articles. Campers will then become journalists by researching and writing their own articles. This camp emphasizes reading and writing skills with an emphasis on non-fiction reading comprehension and the writing process. Campers should bring a notebook and writing utensils each day. A chromebook or similar device isn't required, but campers are welcome to bring them.
