A505: Lower School Basketball

Come join KCD's fun-filled Basketball Camp designed for our Lower School students. Our camp is designed to accommodate all abilities and skill levels. Campers will learn and develop basketball skills including dribbling, passing and shooting. We will incorporate basketball skills into fun drills and games. Join us this summer to meet new friends and have a great time together.

Camp will be 3 days (Mon., Tues., Wed.), prizes will be given out for competitions, students will receive t-shirts. We will also have a special guest ex Louisville player come and talk to the players.

A506: Middle School Basketball

Come join the fun with our Middle School basketball camp! Never played basketball before? No worries, KCD's Middle School basketball camp will be a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game as well as help develop students with advanced skills. Campers will have the opportunity to  participate in drills, games, and competitions. Beginner and advanced level campers will learn the skills needed to play basketball at a high school level.

A508: Woodworking

A woodworking course for any experience/skill-level. Students will choose a small project to make from wood using both hand tools and power tools. At the end of the week, students will bring home their finished project. Fee includes all materials needed. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you can paint in.

A509: Volleyball Preseason Prep

Coach Stuber and Coach Ford are excited for you to join our coed volleyball camp where players get fundamental skills training, competitiveness, and a lot of fun. All aspects of the game will be taught, with a focus on serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defense.  Daily game-based drills and scrimmages will help participants to improve their teamwork skills, while also developing the whole player through individual skill progression. This is a great way to prepare for your upcoming volleyball season and we are excited and ready to help you. See you on the court! (Fee includes a daily snack and tshirt).  

Players must wear proper tennis shoes, knee pads, comfortable athletic shoes (and socks), and apply sunscreen before coming to camp as some of our activities will be outside (weather permitting). Everyone must bring their own labeled water bottle and a small towel.

A510: Dinosaur Camp

Calling all paleontologists! Do you know the difference between carnivores and herbivores? If so, this is the camp for you! We will go on a dinosaur scavenger hunt, dig for prehistoric fossils, make a delicious dinosaur treat, and every student will paint their own dinosaur t-shirt. Bring your favorite dinosaur toys and we will include them during our dinosaur play time.
