A401: All About Animals

Calling all animal lovers!  This will be a fun-filled week of learning about and caring for animals.  There will be several animal visitors throughout the week, including an awesome educational program by Raptor Rehab of Kentucky.  We will partner with local charities to learn how to support homeless pets and animals in need.  A portion of the camp fee  will be donated to local animal care organizations: My Dog Eats First and The Arrow Fund.  A daily animal-themed snack will be provided.

A402: Build Your Own PC

Have you ever wanted to build your own computer? Have you always wanted to learn about all the different parts of a PC and how they work, but didn’t know where to start? Now you can! Our summer stretch will not only teach you about all of these things, but also provide the materials to build your very own high-performance PC that you can use and improve for years to come. Camp fees include staffing cost and build materials. No need to bring anything else. Students will also learn how to customize their own computer space in addition to RGB lighting and cable management. Where our fee comes to $2000 for everything, here is a breakdown of what this would cost on your own:

Delve into the Minecraft world! Campers will explore everything Minecraft with single and cooperative play, playing on the big screen, as well as crafts centered on the popular game.

A405: Blast of Broadway in the Bluegrass

Come join the fun as we sing, dance and act to the brilliant music of Encanto and Spider Man: No Way Home and MANY more musicals! A Blast of Broadway will meet at KCD's beautiful theater from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1, from 9 am to 2 pm. Our show will be on Friday, July 1, at 1:30 pm.
Students are to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes (no dresses, skirts, or sandals, please!)
