Come and learn the ins and outs of Kentucky's newest sanctioned sport: ESPORTS! Yes, that's right, video games are a sanctioned athletic event and we've got the info and experience you need to participate at the high school level and set yourself up for college scholarship opportunities. Learn Rocket League and League of Legends in a fun, friendly environment and end the week with a tournament--GLHF!
Bring a re-usable water bottle, mouse/pad or game controller, and your own laptop or desktop (you can store it at KCD that week) with the following specifications: Mac OS X 10.8.5 or newer; Processor: 2 GHz (supporting SSE2 instruction set or higher); Memory: 2 GB RAM (4GB is strongly recommended); Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT / ATI Radeon HD 2600 or better, screen resolutions up to 1920x1200; Storage: 20 GB available disk space. Lay down some BEATS and turn some knobs!!! In this fun, musical adventure we will learn about how various musical technologies like DRUM MACHINES, SAMPLERS, AND SYNTHESIZERS work to create music. We will use both hardware and software and students will get hands-on experience learning about and using the different types of technologies. No prior musical experience needed! \
All equipment and software will be provided by Mr. Johnson.

A403: Bearcat Remote Summer Education: Semi-Private Writing/Grammar Tutoring (online camp)
Use summer to make strides in honing your child’s English skills!
Mr. Pollitt will spend a week with your child, working on whatever writing and/or grammar issues are most pressing. If you’re not sure what is needed but know your child needs English help, Mr. Pollitt will evaluate the needs and design writing exercises to encourage growth and progress. This offering is essentially personal writing tutoring at less than half the normal cost.
With a maximum of five students, these semi-private sessions will allow maximum potential for feedback and revision in a cost-effective remote environment.

- Time: Flexible. Set time will be 10:00 am-12:00 pm, but if you get a group of 3-5 students together, I will work with your kids in any two-hour segment of the day that works best for you.
