A300: American Girl Doll Camp (Grades Entering K-4th)

Bring your favorite American Girl doll and join us for a week of fun. We will learn about several of the dolls and where and when they “lived”. Then we will enjoy ourselves completing all sorts of activities associated with those times—everything from making blankets to “churning” butter. Your doll and you won’t want to miss this week of summer fun with Ms. Nussbaum at KCD!

Instructor: Halle Nussbaum

A303: Woodworking (Grades 5th-8th)

Campers will start by building a box (to learn/review safe procedures), then they are free to choose their own project to build. Past projects that students have made include birdhouses, toolboxes, a chair, a dollhouse, a small adjustable bookshelf, a makeup caddy, wooden swords and toys, and more. Any skill level is welcome. Campers should wear old clothes and shoes that they won't mind getting paint on. The shop has a supply of tools, but campers are welcome to bring their own (labeled) tools if they prefer. Fee includes cost of materials (lumber, hardware, paint/stain, brushes, safety equipment, etc.).
