A300: Anything and Everything Camp (Entering 2nd-5th Grade)

A301: Become a Doctor for the Week (Grades Entering 4th-7th)

Do you want to be a doctor when you grow up? This is the camp for you! Step inside Ms. Carroll’s classroom, which will be transformed into an operating room for the week. Campers will first graduate from the “KCD Medical School,” where they will gain important knowledge about the human body. Then, head to the operating room to make a diagnosis, perform important surgeries, like organ transplants, give medications, and nurse patients back to health. Students will also create cards and goodie bags to be sent to patients at a local children’s hospital. Fees include doctor attire and tools for each camper. Please bring a drink and snack.

A302: Electronic Music (Grades 5th-12th)

Learn how to make music on a computer! No previous music experience required. How does a synthesizer work? How do you make a beat on a drum machine or sample a sound? In this hands-on camp, Mr. Johnson will teach you the basics of how to do all of these things and more. All equipment provided.

A303: Woodworking (Grades 5th-8th)

Campers will start by building a box (to learn/review safe procedures), then they are free to choose their own project to build. Past projects that students have made include birdhouses, toolboxes, a chair, a dollhouse, a small adjustable bookshelf, a makeup caddy, wooden swords and toys, and more. Any skill level is welcome. Campers should wear old clothes and shoes that they won't mind getting paint on. The shop has a supply of tools, but campers are welcome to bring their own (labeled) tools if they prefer. Fee includes cost of materials (lumber, hardware, paint/stain, brushes, safety equipment, etc.).

A304: Lego Fun! (Grades 1st-4th)

Build it, bust it, and build it again! Join Coach Davis for all things Lego. We will play with Legos, create crafts with Legos, and finish up the camp with a Lego party! Bring your creativity to this camp as it will be free to go wild!
