A200: Early Care

We will play in the gym and get your child off to their camp at 9:00 am. Drop-off will be at the gymnasium entrance (on the middle school side of the building).

A201: Bearcat Sports Academy

Bearcat Sports Academy (BSA) is a 5th-8th grade, 4-day, sports camp focused on preparing middle-school-aged campers to participate in middle school athletics. Campers will spend a majority of their time in sport-specific training, focusing on their chosen sport. Campers will also receive daily sports-general conditioning from a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as motivational and inspirational guest speakers to round out their week.

Campers should bring a brown-bag lunch and any sports specific equipment needed for the week.

*Participation in Bearcat Sports Academy or other activities does not guarantee playing time or team placement for KCD teams.

A202: SAT Bootcamp

This will be an intensive and thorough SAT course that will cover the Reading, English, and Math sections of the SAT. This course will help students prepare for the June 6th SAT and teach them strategies, tips, and tricks that will have them achieving higher scores. Students should bring notebook, pencils, and a calculator to class. Former KCD teacher Joel Morris, who has worked with more than 2,000 students on test prep, will use his 15 years of test prep knowledge to ensure students become more successful.

A203: Bearcat F.C. Soccer Camp

Participants will receive age-appropriate instruction in the skills of soccer. Themes will include, but are not limited to, ball handling, inside of the foot pass, instep drive, receiving/trapping, shooting/finishing, and game situations. These skills will be incorporated into modified games and activities in order to practice the skills in a fun setting.

A204: Slumber Party Girls

Don’t you just love slumber parties ? We will enjoy all sorts of activities as we prepare for our slumber party at school ! We will pamper ourselves , enjoy crafts and even tie dye all in the name of good , clean fun. So, pack your PJs , pillow and come celebrate summer culminating with a sleepover complete with popcorn , movies and friendship !

A205: Lower School Tennis

KCD Head Varsity Tennis Coach Amy Fowler will teach the fundamentals of tennis to campers in 1st-4th grade. Hand-eye coordination, basic movements, cooperation and fun games will all be used to teach basic skills. This camp is designed to introduce tennis in a fun way to help campers establish a love for the game.

A206: Robotics

Students will get to know how to work all the robots we have and learn how to program them to go through obstacle courses, over bridges, and any adventures campers can design.

A207: Maker Camp

Campers will have a variety of activities to choose from to make their camp experience great. There will be group activities as well as the opportunities for campers to work on their own project(s). Students may choose a bigger project to work on a little each day or smaller projects that can be completed in a day. Let's hang out and make some fun stuff! Fee includes supplies for making projects.
