A201: Summer Science Fun! (Grades Entering 1st-5th)

Students will get to explore all kinds of cool science with hands-on experiments and exploration. Students will have an opportunity to play outside with bubbles, and even conduct experiments involving the sun! We will spend time on the playground and eating a snack each day. Students should bring a snack and water bottle each day.

A202: Dog Lovers! (Grades Entering 4th-8th)

Do you love dogs? Then I am PAW-sitive you will love this camp! All week, activities will be centered around all things dogs. We will meet friendly dogs, make dog treats, build dog toys, make dog crafts, and play all sorts of dog-themed games! From tug of war, dog trivia, 4-legged races, and painting a picture of your own dog, you will have the opportunity to celebrate one of life’s greatest pets! You even have the chance to sign up for a time for your parents to bring in your dog to show the rest of the campers. In addition, time will be dedicated to collecting supplies to donate to the Kentucky Humane Society. KCD would feel very FUR-tunate if you joined this awesome camp! Fees include supplies for making dog treats, toys, and crafts. Please bring in a picture of your dog, a drink, and a snack.

A203: Robots and Computer Fun! (Grades Entering 1st-5th)

Join us as we explore all kinds of robots, computer activities like Makey Makey, Bloxels, Minecraft, etc. Students will get to try all sorts of activities in the Lower School Maker Lab and we will break up the screen time with some physical activity outside. Students will need to bring a snack and water bottle each day.

A204: Bearcat Boys Lacrosse Camp

This camp will be for boys wanting to have a fun week learning more about lacrosse. Players will learn technical skills like scooping, dodging, and shooting. They will utilize these learned skills in fun games and scrimmages. More importantly, players will be immersed in a fun and positive atmosphere ideal for players of any experience level, including first-timers!

All grades: Full lacrosse equipment is required to participate. This includes: helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cleats, and a stick.

Come and receive Varsity level coaching from the KCD staff and compete against the best athletes in Louisville in this challenging, one-night camp.  This camp is unique and will provide you with the best possible exposure to the high school football experience.  Friday June 17th from 6-9pm.
