A301: Peek Into Junior Kindergarten (JK)

This camp is a great opportunity for our youngest Bearcats to become acclimated to the school environment and expectations! Children will engage in craft activities, open-ended play in the classroom context, outdoor play on the KCD playgrounds, and daily morning meetings and story times. We also will visit a different place around the school each day so that children start to know their way around KCD and be familiar with the special areas they'll visit as Junior Kindergarteners.

A302: JK Stay and Play (JK)

Your Junior Kindergartener can join Ms. Judy ( KCD JK and K Art Teacher and After School Director) for lunch and play time each day after Peek into Junior Kindergarten. We will take our sack lunches outside for a picnic and then we will explore the campus inside and out, play games, make art, have creative play like dress-up and even go dig, plant and water in the garden It will be a fun and rewarding time with new friends at your child's new school. *Note - pick up will be at 3:00 daily.

A303: Bearcat Junior Soccer Camp (Co-ed) (JK-4th)

Join Coach Pollitt (USSFC License) for an AWESOME week of the best sport on the planet, FUTBOL! We will ALWAYS have a ball at our feet and a smile on our face! We’ll focus on ball handling, inside of the foot pass, instep drive, receiving/trapping, shooting/finishing, and game situations. These skills will be incorporated into small-sided games and activities in order to maximize FUN and touches on the ball. We will have treats at the end of each day for hard workers, and our KCD middle school players will come and play with us.

Kathie Purdie invites you to join this exciting and fast paced class. lt focus on tumbling stretching, breathing, coordination, balance, and gymnastics skills. Campers will engage in stations, games, relays, and activities to improve core strength. Each day, a snack will be provided but campers should bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable clothes. They should wear tennis shoes, as our class will be both inside the gymnastics room and outside

Join Mrs. Marek and Ms. Russell in the Bearcat kitchen to whip up some tasty treats! We will spend the afternoon baking away and you will leave with yummy snacks to share with friends and family. A308: Origami and Papercraft Fun! (4th-6th)

Origami! Papercraft! Fun! This camp for 4th through 6th graders will explore all of the cool things that can be made from a simple piece of paper. We’ll learn traditional methods and folds, use unit origami to make an expanding pinwheel and a stellated icosahedron, and create 3-D models using papercraft techniques. The cost of the camp includes all supplies and students will bring home completed projects each day.
