  • After School Classes

KCD’s After School Classes incorporate independent learning, academics, and enrichment activities. These programs emphasize opportunities for empowerment and skill building, development of good character and positive social skills, and integration of family, school and community supports—all in an environment supervised by caring adults. Registration deadline is one week prior to the start of the session.
  • Intramural Athletics

The Intramural Athletics program provides young children with an introduction to a variety of sports within KCD’s comfortable, supportive, and convenient environment. All players are welcome, regardless of ability. We emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect while promoting self-confidence, physical fitness, and Bearcat pride. We teach the value of healthy competition and that both winning and losing are vital to the development of good sportsmanship. We want every player to have fun, because fun is an essential part of learning.

Sports run for six weeks and generally involve one hour of instruction and/or games per week. Most sports take place on weekdays from 3:30–4:30 pm. Registration deadline is one week prior to the start of the session.
  • Homework Club

Homework Club allows KCD students in grades 2–4 to complete their homework after school during a quiet, supervised study time in the library. To register for Homework Club, use the After School Classes link on this page. The registration deadline is one week prior to the start of the session.
  • Note
