In-service highlights diversity and inclusion, wellness
The new year got off to a great start at the faculty in-service on Monday. The meeting kicked off with a presentation by James Racine, director of diversity and inclusion, exploring how unconscious assumptions about race, ethnicity, and class can perpetuate stereotypes. In the afternoon, faculty participated in a range of wellness sessions led by their colleagues. There were sessions on bullet journaling, smart snacking, yoga, strength training, Tai Chi, meditation, and more! This was a great way to kick off 2019!
