Varsity cross country teams run their best at regionals

On October 27, the varsity cross country teams competed in the Class A Region 3 cross country meet, and for the fourth consecutive year, have qualified for the state meet based on their performances. This is the longest consecutive run of state qualifications by both teams in KCD history.
Coach Bobby Copley said that seniors Will Tway and Judith Topham provided great leadership all season long, which helped each team have successful seasons. “Our senior leaders gave the KCD cross country team experience combined with dedication and determination,” he explained.
