On April 22, the third annual ‘Bearcats and Bats’ was held at Slugger Field. It was a home-run of a day for our KCD community. Lower school boys and their chaperones shared a fun afternoon of baseball and bonding—it was a great day for all who came.
Thanks to Amy Mendel for drawing the raffle winners of the custom Louisville Slugger bats, donated by Bronwyn Hartung and Phoenix Laboratory Consulting. The winners this year were Eli Martin and Sullivan Roberts.
Co-chairs Bronwyn Hartung and Steph Steinberg wish to thank the following for their support: Bob Crawford, Lindsay Delgado, Pam Hall, Amy Mendel, Amy Purkiss, Jeff Topham, and Elyse Weigel. A special thanks to Scott Hendrickson and Quality First for the donation of t-shirt artwork. Also, thanks to Bryan McBride and the Louisville Bats for the warm welcome at Slugger Field!
