Last weekend, four individual test-takers, the Quick Recall team, and the Future Problem Solving team competed in the Governor’s Cup state tournament, going up against thousands of students from hundreds of schools around the state.
At the end of the competition, KCD finished 22nd overall. The Future Problem Solving team of Catherine Tanner, Laura Bache, Sarisha Lohano, Sandhya Lohano, and Megan Delande placed 18th in the state. The Quick Recall team of Sarisha Lohano, Minhal Nazeer, Scott Delande, Sandhya Lohano, Armaan Rai, Emma Vonder Haar, Amy Suo, Paxton Kuhn, Sammy Panchal, Catherine Tanner, Riley Jones, and Evan Davis went 1-2 in pool play. Emma Coulter placed 4th in Composition, Emma Vonder Haar placed 71st in Social Studies, Amelia Davis placed 96th in Language Arts, and Riley Jones placed 27th in Arts & Humanities.
