Thirty-eight teams of KCD parents, friends, grads, and faculty competed for bragging rights at Trivia Night on February 9. Guests enjoyed a delicious barbecue dinner from Chef Chris and Kathy Foster. Congrats to the winning team, “There’s No Crying in Trivia” (Laura Russo, Stephanie Wetzstein, Kim and Jeff Gorski, Colleen and Stuart White, Anna Kogan, and Steven Gomez), who won the respect of the room and a dinner for eight at Seviche.
Several raffle winners were also announced at Trivia Night: KCD parent Lynn Parker won the Louisville Dining Raffle, Tony Delk won the Car Raffle, and middle school teacher Julie Riggs-Johnson won the Teacher Trip Raffle. Thank you to Susan Diamond and Marty Williams for donating the teacher trip vacation and to Clarendon Flavors and Bluegrass Motorsports for sponsoring the raffles. Congratulations to all of our winners!
The night started with an energetic live auction that culminated in this year’s Fund a Need to renovate the library/media center. Guests raised $23,200 for updated furniture and flexible work spaces to foster collaboration and better meet the demands of 21st-century learning styles.
