Amity Trio Residency at KCD
On Wednesday, March 29, our Fine Arts department had the pleasure of hosting the Amity Trio on campus for a day of residency with Middle and Upper School students.
Fifth and sixth graders enjoyed a performance and Q&A session during the school day. Additionally, two masterclasses were held after school for both Middle and Upper School singers, pianists, and strings players. Click here for more photos from the visit.
The Fine Arts department is very grateful to the KCD Fine Arts Guild for making this residency possible.
The Amity Trio is a chamber ensemble for soprano, horn, and piano that advocates for new music, especially music from underrepresented voices. The trio includes Kim Carballo (piano), Michael Walker (horn), and Soprano Katie Dukes Walker (soprano).
