Upper School Speech Team success at State

Last weekend, our Upper School Speech Team competed in the state tournament. Overall the team won the School of Distinction Award and Sustained Excellence Award—this is an amazing achievement for our school!

We are so proud of Minhal Nazeer ’24, Emaan Sayied ’23, Megan Delande ’23, William Bache ’25, Anya Sharma ’24, and Naya Singal ’25 for their amazing work—both as a team and individually. Additionally, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to Coach Abby Sheridan for her support and dedication to our Bearcats.

State Results:

Quarter Finals

William — Broadcasting (top 24 out of 64 students)

Emaan and Megan — Improv Duo (top 24 out of 51 pairs)

Finals

Anya — 3rd place in Impromptu out of 56 students

Minhal — 4th place in Oratory out of 36 students
