George Hornstein named Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach
We are excited to welcome George Hornstein as the new Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach at KCD!
Coach Hornstein brings years of great experience and values that we know will align with our Bearcat athletic program’s mission and vision. The 2022-23 season will be his 15th year as a high school basketball coach.
“I am sincerely grateful to be the new mens' varsity basketball coach at KCD! The core values, high athletic expectations, and family atmosphere that I witnessed through the hiring process are what make me eager to be a part of this community,” stated Coach Hornstein.
Hornstein stated that his mission as a coach remains consistent. He looks to “empower athletes with ‘G.R.I.T.’ To develop players who are grateful, resilient, intentional, and trustworthy teammates who come together to form lasting habits of success that are supported by lifelong friendships.”
We also look forward to welcoming Coach Hornstein’s wife Jackie and his two daughters Harper (11) and Edie (6) to the Bearcat community!
