Bearcat soccer program gives back to the community

Thank you to our Bearcat soccer families for their collaborative effort that allowed us to deliver $2000 worth of cleats to the West End School for their soccer program.
The funds collected for this special initiative were the result of the annual 3v3 tournament we hosted in October, in addition to the support of a couple of very generous donors.

Based on specific needs sent to us by the West End School, Coach Clark Pollitt worked with Soccer Village in Cincinnati to maximize these funds and purchase the greatest number of quality cleats available.

“We are very lucky people to be able to play, coach, and watch the game we love, and I want every player in our program to give back to the game and to the community,” said Coach Pollitt. “As we head into next year and beyond, I plan to work to get all our Middle School and Upper School players working to do just that. We are going to find ways to serve and learn the importance of being stewards of the game and servant leaders in the community.”

Coach Pollitt delivered the cleats to West End School earlier this week and plans to spend the remaining funds (about $250) on additional new soccer balls for the WES’s program.
