Lisa Pepper named new head tennis coach

The Bearcat tennis team is excited to welcome back Lisa Pepper as head coach.
Lisa has been at KCD since 2005. She first served as the middle school counselor and in 2012 transitioned to serving grades 7 through 12. Beginning this school year, Lisa is serving as the counselor for the Upper School. Along with working as a school counselor, Lisa has always had a love of all sports, with a special place in her heart for tennis. Coach Pepper was also an accomplished tennis player herself having played Florida junior tennis as a kid and playing Division I tennis on scholarship for the University of Louisville.

Lisa will be taking over as the head coach of the tennis program once again. She previously coached the boys' team from 2006-2013 and the girls' team from 2012-2013.

During that time the boys won two regional championships in 2008 and 2009. The boys' team was the State runner-up in 2009 and they also won a State boys doubles title in 2012 with Collier Bouchillon and Matt Browne.

Coach Pepper was awarded the Booster Club's High School Coach of the Year in 2009. For the past two years she has served as an assistant coach but is now ready to return to the helm.

Go Bearcats!
