Facilities Team Member (Evening Shift)

Kentucky Country Day School is currently searching for a team member to join the Facilities department. This position will serve a multi-purpose role, responsible for performing a wide range of daily maintenance and operational tasks in school buildings and on the grounds of an 80-acre campus. Evening or night shift schedule.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Perform light maintenance duties, such as painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
  • Ability to change light bulbs and HVAC filters on a set schedule.
  • Furniture moving for on campus event set-up, break-down and turnaround.
  • Snow shoveling, sanding, and plowing (seasonal)
  • Additional duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry work is preferred.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Dependability and commitment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
