Dylan Sims to take over KCD baseball program

Athletic Director Dr. Tim Green has announced that Dylan Sims will become the varsity baseball coach at KCD. Sims replaces Dayton Rausch, who stepped down after two seasons. Coach Sims has coached at KCD in several capacities over the last three years. He has served as middle school baseball coach as well as a varsity and middle school football coach, and as a varsity and middle school girls basketball coach.
Coach Sims played varsity baseball at Oldham County High School and played college football at Georgetown College.

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to continue coaching at such an amazing place,” Coach Sims remarked. “With the support of the KCD community and the outstanding student athletes, I think the KCD baseball program has a bright future ahead.”

Dr. Green is delighted that Coach Sims is taking over the baseball program. “Dylan is an excellent young coach who is familiar with the KCD community. I am excited to see him continue the strong tradition that KCD baseball has built over the last several years.”
