Talent shines at KCD’s Got Talent fundraiser

The talent in our community got a chance to shine on March 8 at the first-ever KCD’s Got Talent schoolwide talent show. After an incredible meal and festive beverages from Taco Luchador/Guacamole, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni took to the stage to sing, play, and tell jokes before an appreciative audience in the theater. The business office’s Kara Kelton was recognized as the best act of the night for her soulful rendition of “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.”
The talent show was paired with our annual live and silent auctions, which serve as our most important fundraiser of the year. In addition to proceeds from the auctions, the event raised $20,000 to support STEAM education at KCD! Click here if you'd like support this initiative.

Raffle winners were also announced following the talent show. Congratulations to these lucky winners:
  • Leigh Stine: car/cash raffle
  • KCD parent Ryan Davis: Pappy raffle
  • Middle school teacher Michelle Paschal: Louisville Dining Package
  • Lower school teacher Halle Nussbaum: Teacher Trip
