Senior’s work fighting hunger is recognized with Bell Award

Senior Chad Kamen has been active in the fight against community hunger for many years. He first created Team Food Chain in 2009, and the group has become an official charitable organization under his leadership. Since 2009, Team Food Chain has raised $58,000 to fight hunger in Louisville—the equivalent of 200,000 meals.
In recognition of his work fighting hunger in Louisville, Chad has been presented with the WLKY Bell Awards Youth Service Honor. The Bell Awards recognize individuals who have demonstrated the true “spirit of Louisville” through volunteering and inspiring others to participate in community service.
