Fifth grade Life Skills curriculum meeting
Fifth grade parents are invited to join life skills teacher Lisa Pepper on Tuesday,
May 13, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Head’s Conference Room. Ms. Pepper
will be sharing information and answering questions about the fifth grade sex
education curriculum.

Middle School spring choral concert is May 19
Please join us on Monday, May 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Commons.
Fifth and sixth grade social
Tuesday, May 13, from 3:30–6:00* p.m. at Lazer Blaze. The event
costs $19 (pay at the door) and includes an unlimited pizza buffet,
drinks, two games of lazer tag, and one game of mini golf.

Sixth grade student-parent writing conference
This letter provides information on the sixth grade writing
conference on May 13.
Laptop Program meetings for
rising ninth graders are April 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilder Room. The technology
staff is offering a meeting for next year’s ninth graders and their
parents to explain the Laptop Program in the Upper School. All school-approved
computers will be on display. The ordering timeline and warranties for
the laptops will be explained as well. Please plan to attend one of these

Oaks and Derby Lock-In
Still looking for an Oaks/Derby Day babysitter? KCD is holding its
sixth Annual Oaks/Derby Day Lock-In with Ms. Vertrees. This service
will be offered for
children in grades JK–6.

Middle
School presents Charlotte’s Web over April 25–27
Please make plans now to attend the middle school production of Joseph Robinette’s
adaptation of E.B. White’s award-winning Charlotte’s Web. Performances
are Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April
2 at 4:00 p.m. All performances are at KCD.
The April 26 performance is a dinner theatre
performance, and reservations are required. More information and a reservation
form is posted here.
The April 27 matinee is the culminating event in the KCD Arts Fair, which
will be held between 1–6:00 p.m. that day.
