Math students complete third competition

The middle school accelerated math students participated in their third Continental Math League competition this past week. The tests consist of six questions in thirty minutes. The top finishers in each grade are:

  • 5th Grade: Rachel Park, Eric Mao, and Michael Wright — all three with 5s
  • 6th Grade: Sam Hovious, Shanzeh Sayied, and Lucy Suo — all three with perfect scores!
  • 7th Grade: Izah Ahmed, Noah Gillis, and Josh Taylor — all three with 5s
  • 8th Grade: Sonia Gadre and Asa Hiken — both with perfect scores!
