Upper School Honor Pledge

In 1985, KCD's Board of Trustees approved the adoption of an honor system for the Upper School. The system is intended to make students aware of the importance of ethical decisions that they make in their daily lives at school and to foster in them a sense of responsibility for their own actions.

KCD’s Honor Code Constitution, which is included in our Student Handbook, sets out the details of our honor system and the procedures for handling incidents of dishonesty. The Constitution gives students a remarkable degree of responsibility and influence in the disciplinary process. Please review this document with your son or daughter.

The honor system also requires that all students sign and return the Honor Pledge attached below. Again, please review and discuss the Pledge before signing it along with your son or daughter, then return it to the upper school office.
