Lunch Parent Schedule

Attached please find the schedule for the year for the “KCD Lunch Parent Program.” Please note that the schedule is sorted two different ways. The first sort is by grade, classroom teacher and student name. The second sort is alphabetical by student’s last name. The days and time for each grade are as follows:

Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten: Wednesday
Arrive by 10:45; Supervise lunch from 10:55-11:30; Read from 11:30-11:45

First Grade: Friday
Arrive by 12:00: Supervise lunch from 12:05-12:45; Read from 12:45-1:05

Second Grade: Thursday
Arrive by 11:05: Read- 11:10-11:30; Supervise lunch from 11:35-12:05

Third Grade: Thursday
Arrive by 11:05; Supervise lunch from 11:10-11:45; Read from 11:50-12:20

Fourth Grade: Tuesday
Arrive by 11:15; Supervise lunch from 11:20-11:55; Read from 12:00-12:25

We tried to honor special requests and avoid conflicts for parents with multiple lower school children. If you should find a conflict with your schedule, please try to switch with another parent in your child’s class. Most parents are very willing to trade or take on an extra day. Please remember that it is your responsibility to find a substitute. Please do not ask your child’s teacher to find a replacement. When looking for a replacement, try to consider parents whose children may have joined KCD after the signup.

To ensure that there are not any “no shows” for the teachers, you will receive a reminder prior to your scheduled date via phone or e-mail. Please come to school on your scheduled day a few minutes early. This will give the teachers time to pass along any special instructions and answer any questions you may have without disrupting the lunch schedule.

All parents are asked to sign in with the office upon arrival and get a name tag
