Dan Jones KCD 1979

As the guiding force behind Louisville’s 21st Century Parks, Dr. Dan Jones ’79 is spearheading one of the largest urban parks initiatives in the United States. Under Dr. Jones’ leadership, 21st Century Parks has acquired 3,000 acres in eastern and southern Louisville along Floyd’s Fork Creek. The land will provide a home to a world-class public park system that will include over twenty miles of hiking trails.

In recognition of his dedication to improving the quality of life in the Louisville community, Alumni Association President Pai Charasika ’94 inducted Dr. Jones into the Alumni Association Hall of Fame.
