Software Installation End User License Agreement (EULA)
This EULA is a legal agreement between you (the student and the student’s parent or legal guardian, who will be referred to as you in the following agreement) and Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) concerning software installation, which may include associated media, printed materials and any online or electronic documentation (referred to collectively as software).
By installing the software (or having us install it for you), you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, you may not install or use the software or use any laptop on the KCD campus.
This software is licensed, not sold, and is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.
- Grant of License: This EULA grants you the following rights: installation and use. You may install, use, access, display, and run one copy of the software on your laptop. You are not granted permission to install, use, access, display, and run the software on any other laptop, workstation, terminal, or other device.
- Restrictions: You may not reverse engineer or decompile the software. You may not rent or lease or lend the software.
- Surrender: You agree to surrender the software prior to graduating or otherwise ceasing to be a student at Kentucky Country Day School, or on termination or demand by Kentucky Country Day School administration.
- Termination: Kentucky Country Day School reserves the right to terminate this EULA and/or subject you to disciplinary action if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA.
- Extension of Terms: You agree that all terms of this agreement will apply to any updates or revisions You receive to the software, regardless of how they are obtained by you.
