Lacrosse, Girls 6th Grade

For the seventh consecutive year, the KCD girls’ lacrosse program hosted its Jamboree for middle school teams throughout the region. This year, there were 26 teams from Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee who participated in this event, which is designed to promote the growth of the sport in a festive but competitive environment. With four fields of fast-paced action taking place at the same time, the Jamboree is a great showcase for our school and also serves as a fundraiser for the girls’ lacrosse program.

According to Zionsville, Indiana, coach Leslie Sherman, “This was an incredible day for our girls to get exposed to quality competition. We were so excited to be able to attend this wonderful Play Day and we look forward to coming back next year.”

The girls’ lacrosse program would like to thank seventh grade parents Edie Fullerton, Rhonda and Sam Hail, Shannon Hamilton, and Annabelle Tacogue for organizing this outstanding event. Thanks also to KCD grandparent Lou Antle for providing all the signage for the event.
