Dear Fellow Bearcat Families and Friends:
In
2004, Kentucky Country Day initiated a Booster Club to promote and
enhance Bearcat athletics. Since its inception,
the club purchased
equipment and programs for coaches and athletes, and facilities were
enhanced. It is important to know that ALL Bearcat sports are the
beneficiaries of the efforts of the Booster Club. It is the goal of the
Booster Club
to continue to increase its membership, and to do even more for our
athletic program. Don’t miss our Bearkitten membership and
clinics just for Lower School students!
Please visit the athletics
section of the KCD Web site to review last year’s Booster Club
accomplishments. Clearly, the Booster Club is making a difference
both on and off the field,
court, and course.
We encourage you to join the Booster Club (see above for a membership
application) to establish, and strengthen athletic traditions for alumni,
to enhance the environment of the present Bearcats, and to attract, and
motivate future Bearcats. Your membership can make a difference!
I would
also encourage you to become involved in the Booster Club. We have
several ways to volunteer, and it is a great way to meet other
KCD parents. It takes a team effort to succeed.
Go Bearcats!
